A full tree is never worth a false branch. The Proof Before You Add It Pack is a practical family-history field kit for the moment a hint, online tree or suggested parent looks convincing enough to accept. It gives you a calm, repeatable way to test one proposed fact before it quietly becomes part of your proven lineage.
Use the pack to examine the underlying record, separate same-name candidates, identify conflicts in age, place, spouse or timeline, and decide whether a claim is known, reported, a hypothesis or still unassigned. Inside, you will find a 60-second “Stop Before You Click” card, hint-audit and identity worksheets, a source-and-claim check, a chronology tool and a safe tree rescue plan for correcting an unsupported connection without losing your research trail.
This is for researchers who want to keep useful leads without granting them more certainty than the evidence earns. One claim. One check. One honest verdict.
